Helen Houghton (D Hyp, MIAPH)

Prior to practising as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, Helen Houghton spent 20 years in the Agricultural allied sector firstly as Company Accountant, Finance Director and latterly as CEO experiencing all aspects of commerce, process-management and man-management. Her keen interest in human behaviour and psychology, particularly in the business environment, brought more questions than answers.

During an exceptionally busy period in her life juggling family commitments, a career and an inability to switch off, she discovered the benefits of hypnosis for relaxation. Having experienced the benefits, Helen researched the vast subject of Hypnosis and discovered an array of applications and therapies that utilised this powerful process.

In 2003 Helen became a member of  The International Association For Pure Hypnoanalysis (MIAPH) having successfully completed a Diploma in Hypnotherapy (D Hyp).

Qualifications include :

• Diploma in Successful Hypnotherapy and Pure Hypnoanalysis
• Certificate of Competence in Stress Management Techniques

Helen has also undergone an enhanced CRB clearance check.
